This year has been a big one for our livestreaming kaupapa. Across Aotearoa, we’ve had the privilege of supporting kaupapa Māori events that bring people together, amplify voices, and make important moments accessible to whānau wherever they are.

Working alongside Te Hiku Media, we helped deliver livestreaming and technical production for a wide range of events throughout the year.

Each project came with its own tikanga, technical challenges, and responsibilities, and we’re proud of the care and consistency we brought to every broadcast.

Some of the kaupapa we supported include:

  • Te Taitokerau Festival, celebrating creativity, culture, and community
  • Tokihi ki Tua, creating space for whakaaro Māori and future-focused kōrero
  • Ngā Manu Kōrero, supporting rangatahi speakers on a national stage
  • Hui Tāne, the national Māori men’s mental health conference
  • Māori Women’s Welfare League National Conference, connecting wāhine Māori from across the motu
  • Te Taitokerau Rugby League Finals, capturing high-energy local sport
  • NZ Māori vs Auckland All Stars, showcasing top-tier Māori rugby league

Across these events, our mahi covered livestream delivery, multi-camera production, audio integration, and ensuring reliable broadcasts for both in-person and online audiences. Whether working in large venues or community spaces, the goal stayed the same: make sure the kaupapa was respected and the kōrero reached the people it was meant for.

Livestreaming is more than just cameras and cables. For us, it’s about access, connection, and supporting Māori-led storytelling in ways that are fit for purpose and future-focused. We’re grateful to Te Hiku Media and all the organisers who trusted us with their kaupapa, and we’re excited to keep building on this mahi in the year ahead.
